National Grammar Day

I'd like to thank the pitifully few grocery stores which have express lanes for orders of "10 Items or Fewer". If it's a number that you can count it's "fewer"; if it is an amount that cannot be enumerated it's "less". There is less snow on the ground today but there are fewer snowflakes.

BIG pet peeve - can you tell?

Today, March 4, 2008 is National Grammar Day. Here are a few relevant blogs for your edification.
