Sick, sick, sick
I just went down to let the dogs out and find something to eat. Nothing. There is NOTHING worth eating that won't take every drop of energy that I have to prepare. So I'm off to Wendy's in my pj's to get food. But I have no cash. Fortunately, Wendy's takes debit cards. I just got my new card in the mail (the old one suddenly broke in half...) - I ordered it from the bank on Feb 21st and it never arrived because they sent it to Hillsborough. The second one arrived Tuesday. So before I can go I need to activate it. I called the number and punched in all of the things they asked me to - despite the fact that the rabbit ate the '5' button off of the phone. Now, the last time I activated a card it took about a minute and a half total - punch your buttons, wait 5 seconds for them to activate it and you're good to go. Now it is an opportunity for them to hold you captive while they play commercials - 3 of them totalling 4 1/2 minutes - before they tell you that you can now use your own money.
Here's the 5-less phone. Look who called yesterday!

New addition!
Hi everyone!
The HTML is giving me fits, so bear with me while I try to get the captions to match the photos!

The back of the house last summer. The little shed to the far right is a real, actual, two-holer outhouse. The larger shed is a summer kitchen with a cool stone fireplace that needs new mortar before it can be used. We haven't
The "Back 40". This pic was taken with the last one - it's a 90 degree turn to the camera's right.
The front of the house. Yep, we're really close to the road -- fortunately it's a fairly quiet road.
The kitchen in the midst of renovation last spring.
Edited 3/23/06 trying to clean up the HTML, which looks fine in my preview screen but doesn't publish correctly. Aarghhh!

All I wanna do is rest in peace...
Add to that the new bunny ("Neo", officially, but lovingly referred to as "Fuzzbut" thanks to you, Rene) who learned to leap effortlessly out of his cage. Older daughter added a level to it while I was out at CVS with Younger Daughter selling GS cookies this morning. Now the Inlaws are here to keep peace amongst the kids and animals while The Husband and I crash for awhile.

My brain is green
GREEN:
At work or in school: I work best by myself.
I like to focus on my ideas until my desire
for understanding is satisfied. I am easily
bored if the subject holds no interest to me.
Sometimes, it is hard for me to set
priorities because so many things are of
interest.
With friends: I may seem reserved. Although
my thoughts and feelings run deep, I am
uneasy with frequent displays of emotion. I
enjoy people who are interesting and of high
integrity.
With family: I am probably seen as a loner
because I like a lot of private time to
think. Sometimes, I find family activities
boring and have difficulty following family
rules that don't make sense to me. I show
love by spending time with my family and
sharing ideas and interests.
